Vacancy Notification for Skilled /Semi Skilled Grade
Industrial Operatives in various trades for appointment
on Contract Basis for a maximum period of two years
for SC, ST, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) , PWD(OH & HH) &
GEN Candidates. Mazagon Dock Limited invites application
from eligible candidates in the category of SC, ST, OBC
(Non creamy Layer) and UR(General) for walk-in Interview
for the posts operatives & technical staff in various trades
in Skilled grade I & Semi-skilled grade-I for appointment
on Contract Basis for maximum period of two years.

Applications are invited for the following posts :

Technical Staff :

1. Jr. Draughtsman : 22 posts (Gen-14, OBC-5, SC-2, ST-1)

2. Jr QC Inspector (Mech.=10 & Electrical=2)
: 12 posts (Gen-7, OBC-3, SC-1, ST-1)

3. Jr Planner Estimator (Mech.=10 & Electrical=4)
: 14 posts (Gen-9, OBC-3, SC-1, ST-1)

4. Pharmacist : 2 posts (Gen-2, OBC-0, SC-0, ST-0)

Skilled Grade I :

5. Rigger : 24 posts (Gen-14, OBC-6, SC-2, ST-2)

6. Painter : 25 posts (Gen-15, OBC-6, SC-2, ST-2)

7. Carpenter : 18 posts (Gen-12, OBC-4, SC-1, ST-1)

8. Master 1st Class : 2 posts (Gen-2, OBC-0, SC-0, ST-0)

9. Master 2nd Class : 2 posts (Gen-2, OBC-0, SC-0, ST-0)

10. Sarang : 2 posts (Gen-2, OBC-0, SC-0, ST-0)

11. Spl Gr Engine Driver : 3 posts (Gen-3, OBC-0, SC-0, ST-0)

12. Eng.Driver 1st Class : 2 posts (Gen-2, OBC-0, SC-0, ST-0)

13. Eng.Driver 2nd Class : 1 posts (Gen-1, OBC-0, SC-0, ST-0)

14. Elect. Crane Operator : 7 posts (Gen-6, OBC-1, SC-0, ST-0)

Semi Skilled Grade I :

15. Utility Hand : 4 posts (Gen-3, OBC-1, SC-0, ST-0)

16. Fire Fighter : 15 posts (Gen-9, OBC-4, SC-1, ST-1)

**In case of over response, date of interview will be
further extended. However, candidates will have to
register their names on the date of interview mentioned above.

Period of Contract : The Contract for all the above
categories will be for a maximum period of two years.

Pay and Allowances :
• The candidates engaged on contract in Skilled Gr-I category
will get basic pay of Rs.7500/- per month in the IDA Pay Scale
in the first year and Rs.7575/- in the second year. Besides
basic pay, they will be entitled to get Industrial DA, HRA,
Transport Subsidy, CPF/Gratuity etc. as per rules of the
Company.
• The candidates engaged on contract in Semi
Skilled Gr-I category will get basic pay of Rs.6000/- per
month in the IDA Pay Scale in the first year and Rs.6060/- in
the second year. Besides basic pay, they will be entitled
to get Industrial DA, HRA, Transport Subsidy, CPF/Gratuity
etc. as per rules of the Company.
