Recruitment for Teaching and Non-Teaching Posts in various Departments.

Applications in the prescribed form are invited from the Indian Nationals for filling up of the following Teaching and posts at the North-Eastern Hill University (NEHU) :

• Professor :   30 posts in various subjects/ disciplines
  Pay Scale :  Rs. 37400 – 67000  AGP Rs. 10000/-
• Registrar : 01 post  (For a tenure of 5 years)
  Pay Scale :  Rs. 37400 – 67000  AGP Rs. 10000/-
• Associate Professor : 46 posts in various subjects/ disciplines
  Pay Scale : Rs. 37400 – 67000 AGP Rs. 9000/-
• Assistant Professor : 25 posts in various subjects/ disciplines
  Pay Scale : Rs. 15600 – 39100 AGP  Rs.6000/-

The prescribed application form along with other details may be downloaded from the University website www.nehu.ac.in. Filled in downloaded application must be accompanied by an application fee of Rs. 500/- (Five hundred)  for General/OBC candidates and Rs. 250/-(Two hundred & fifty) for SC/ST  candidates. Person With Disabilities are exempted from payment of application fee. The fee may be paid through Demand Draft/ Banker Cheque drawn in favour of Finance Officer, NEHU payable at Shillong or the fee can also be paid through University Challan.
